  • Is it safe to buy bus tickets on Reservamos?

  • What documents do I need to board the bus?

    In addition to your printed travel ticket, the Mexican Federal Government requires a valid government-issued photo ID. You may present a voter ID (INE), passport, driver's license, professional ID, or residency card.

    • Traveling with a minor: You must present the child's CURP (Mexican population registry code), birth certificate, school ID, or passport.
    • Foreign passengers: Present a valid passport, visa (if applicable), and a stamped FMM (Multiple Migration Form).

    Without the required documentation, boarding will not be permitted and you will lose the value of your ticket. It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure they have all the necessary documents and a printed ticket. Reservamos.com does not provide immigration advice.

  • What should I do if my bus is delayed?

    If your bus is delayed more than 120 minutes at departure, file a claim with Reservamos and contact the carrier's ticket counter. Follow these steps:

    1. Note the name of the agent who assists you.
    2. Take a photo of the ticket counter or boarding point.
    3. Send a photo of your printed ticket and official ID.
    4. Indicate the exact time you arrived.
    5. Share the full address of the boarding point and a Google Maps pin.
    6. If you purchased another ticket, also send a photo of that ticket.

    Make sure to attach all relevant evidence when submitting your request. Important: Refunds are not granted, but we will evaluate support alternatives. Arrival delays do not qualify for a claim.

  • How can I contact Reservamos?

  • Do I need to present a printed bus ticket?

    Yes. Although some bus carriers accept a digital ticket on your phone, it is always safest to carry a printed ticket.

    If the carrier's staff does not accept the digital format and you don't have a printout, you could lose your right to board with no possibility of a refund. We always recommend printing your ticket.

  • What is the Boleto Flexible and how does it work?

    With Boleto Flexible you can make changes to your bus tickets and request cancellations in cases such as:

    • Illness
    • Vacation or work event cancellation
    • Cultural or artistic event cancellation

    It also covers delays of more than 120 minutes and trip cancellations by the carrier. In all cases you must provide official documentation, subject to validation. Refunds are not granted. Applies only if the ticket has no discount and has not been invoiced.

  • How much luggage can I bring on the bus?

    The luggage allowance depends on the bus carrier you're traveling with. Each carrier sets weight and size limits, which will be specified on your travel ticket.

    If you need more information about additional luggage, contact the bus carrier or check at the terminal before traveling.

  • What types of discounts are available when buying bus tickets?

    When booking bus tickets online, you may have access to special discounts, subject to availability and each carrier's policies:

    • Senior citizen (INAPAM / INSEN)
    • Child
    • Teacher
    • Student
    • Person with a disability (PCD)

    To apply the discount, select the appropriate category when registering the passenger. Keep in mind that you will need to show official documentation when boarding.

    If the discount is not available in the system, you will need to purchase your ticket at the regular fare.

  • What is Cobertura Reservamos?

    Cobertura Reservamos protects your purchase and allows you to make one ticket change in situations such as:

    • Delay of 120 minutes or more
    • Trip cancellation by the carrier
    • Ticket not recognized by the carrier

    It does not allow cancellations or refunds. It does not apply to discounted tickets, already-invoiced tickets, or if the change is requested less than 6 hours before departure.

  • Can my pet travel with me on the bus?

    Pet policies depend on each bus carrier. Reservamos does not have that specific information, so we recommend contacting the carrier directly to confirm requirements, documentation, and any additional fees.

  • At what age do children need to pay for a bus ticket?

    Children must pay for a bus ticket starting at 3 years of age on the date of travel.

    Infants under 3 years old travel free of charge, but without a seat or luggage allowance — they must travel on the lap of a parent or guardian throughout the entire trip.

  • Can I change or cancel my bus ticket?

    Yes. When purchasing through Reservamos, you may have access to Cobertura Reservamos or Boleto Flexible, depending on your purchase.

    Check your confirmation email to find out which coverage applies to your ticket and review the terms and conditions for changes or cancellations.

  • What happens if I arrive late to my bus departure?

    If you miss your departure, the bus ticket is forfeited and no refund applies. Carriers do not offer grace periods out of respect for other passengers.

    We recommend going directly to the ticket counter with your printed ticket and official ID to check whether the carrier can offer any alternative. In most cases, you will need to purchase a new ticket and pay the full fare.
